A Warm Welcome...

The Howarth House Bed & Breakfast is located at 81 Ross Street in Fitchburg, MA

We have been open since October 2009, providing what we think is a beautiful setting to relax and enjoy a quiet stop on a journey. Better yet, stay a while and see what is available for events, entertainment, nature and sport. Located just above the campus of Fitchburg State University (a one minute walk), the university offers many additional reasons for a visit, whether it is for a parent event or perhaps for one of the many fine shows presented at Weston Auditorium. We are 2 minutes from the train to Boston, 25 minutes to Mount Wachusett for skiing, hiking and other entertainment, and a crossroads to New Hampshire and Vermont.

For now the B&B offers up 2 rooms with en suite private baths and a fine breakfast that will start anyone’s day off in a great way.

The B&B main building is non smoking,

though cigar and cigarette smoking is

allowed in the “Fire Room” where the out

building has a pool table and comfortable

seating around a fireplace and is

surrounded by firefighting

photographs and

memorabilia.
